I know I'm very bad at writing journals, but this time I have something pretty important to say.
I've always been into literature (as you can see, I have a few old poems in my gallery), but four years of studying Philology in university have made me a perfection-freak when it comes to literature. And I'm especially critical when it comes to my work. So that's why I haven't uploaded literature on dA in ages.
BUT - to get to the interesting part - a while ago I started to write a novel. I only managed to write a few chapters so far (and many displaced notes) because whenever I read it I start to change it - and I mean big stuff, not just character names and such. I never think it's good enough to show it to people.
However, a few days ago while browsing the usual dA literature, I started to get the idea that maybe I should upload after all what I've written so far. Let YOU people decide if it's alright or not. What's the worse that can happen, eh?
But this means that I will need your feedback!
TRAIL OF THE WOLVES

First Chapter: [link]
The Dark Ages, 999 AD. Northumbria (Northern England). Aidan, 15, is an apprentice monk at the will of his father, the Earl of Northumbria. He is troubled by nightmares and by a mysterious illness that makes him odd in the eyes of the other monks and he longs for a change from that dull life. One night, the monastery is attacked and plundered and Aidan is taken prisoner to be sold as slave to a wealthy nobleman in Norway. There, he is thrown into a world that is shaken by the clash between the old pagan ways and the rising Christian religion. This new life challenges his beliefs, his will, his courage, his strength of character and his faith.
So, to keep up the medieval spirit, I'm featuring some fantastic works that would go perfectly with my story:
