Literature Text

Guided by a morning star
I walk the path alone;
Oh, how brave and proud you are
But so far away from home!

I have seen a land so wide
I fear the shadows no more;
With the sword by my side
I shall stray for evermore.

O’er the mountains, o’er the hills,
O’er the seas I have been,
And rested in the Scented Garden
That no other man has seen.

I have seen the deepest abyss
And gazed into the flame;
I have flown to reach the sunlight
Then fallen with the rain.

There`s no way I can go back;
I walk at night and day,
Not in life and not in death,
For I shall never find my way.

As long as I have strength and breath
I`m poised to haunt these lands
There`s always more to walk and see-
The journey never ends.

Very nice. These sentiments work well for me. A road is meant for walking.
